Since when is it the government’s job to tell us what our kids can or can’t eat?

I’m not following you. Assuming it’s a public school, if your kid eats a school lunch, isn’t he already eating what the government is telling him to? There aren’t unlimited options. I don’t see how the government creating healthier variance changes things governme

What is this!?!?! Anyone else think the republicans are a bit… bitter? Like Im kind of picturing them all as some Regina George-esque teen girl screaming at someone because she didn’t win homecoming queen. The election happened guys… get over it… Obama one by quite a few electoral votes. I don’t think anyone made a mistake.

Considering all the counties that had 100%+ voter turn out, and on areas that don’t require voter ids, I’d be appalled if there wasn’t a recall. If Mitt Romney had won under these circumstances, the left would be rioting in the streets.

Do you guys even check your sources on these things?

St. Lucie county, as well as Alachua, Baker, Calhoun, Flagler, Leon, Levy, and Volusia counties, use GEMS to tabulate their votes. Under this system, each sheet is counted as a “card.” So, basically, there can be multiple cards per ballot and each card can have two sides. Volusia had three cards (six sides) and you’ll note on their results it says 737182 cards cast while only 235205 votes were cast for president indicating nearly 3x cards to for each voter.

So the only thing that’s 141% is the number of cards counted.

You think maybe they used two cards per voter?

Oh, wait, I know they did. How? Because if you go on the front page of their website, you see the message: “NOTE* - TURNOUT PERCENTAGES WILL SHOW OVER 100% DUE TO A TWO PAGE BALLOT. NOT ALL VOTERS VOTED THE SECOND CARD CONTAINING THE AMENDMENTS.

The internet is really hard.

As many know, ShockofGod is a YouTube Christian who likes to make videos on his motorcycle and make fun of atheists. His pet question is, “What proof and evidence do you have that atheism is accurate and correct?”

Imagine my surprise when I found out that he has a chatroom. I went on this chat-room several times, and it’s a bizarre experience. You will find the best and the worst, here. It’s a Christian run chat-room that specializes in apologetics and arguing with atheists. The moderators easily become ban-happy, but there are some decent conversations to be had.

By all means, try the chat. I just can’t gauntness the level of conversation you’ll have.
