I’m Impressed

In the news today Rick Santorum is warning America of the greatest danger facing it. It isn’t decaying infrastructure or a joke health-care system or corrupt politics or sky-high unemployment or stagnating production or increased international trade competition or a volatile middle-east. No, he announced that “Satan has his sights on the United States of America”.

Sarah Palin subsequently defended Santorum’s Satan comments on FOX News, by blaming the “lame-stream media” for getting “all wee-weed up.”

May I just say that I’m encouraged by the way Mr Santorum is focusing laser-like on the real problems facing ordinary American people and add how impressed I am by the mature and adult language being used in the political debate by such as Ms Palin. I mean, if people like this are allowed to run the country what could possibly go wrong ?
