Just finished watching WLC debate historical Jesus
Craig is a great voice for the apologist movement, he’s smart, and on the surface his arguments are really compelling.
That doesn’t make him right.
As far as I’m concerned, his arguments for historical Jesus are invalid. Between the irrationality of the people of the era, the inconsistencies of the scriptures, various differing accounts of many kinds, and a lack of objective historical evidence, I cannot objectively say that, historically speaking, Jesus was resurrected from the dead. There are just too many holes.
Craig should stick to philosophy. It kind of scares me that people take what he says seriously. I mean, his arguments seem solid and if his premises are true his argument seem rational. The problem is that when cross-examining the premises, they are proven to either be false or at least unproven. By definition, he appeals to the flat-earth tendencies of his audience.
I will forever be a skeptic.

I love that proving the empty tomb somehow proves a resurrection. And I love how he assumes proving the resurrection proves anything else he purports as a Christian. Craig is a fuck.
